This is not really about a Facebook Newsletter – but rather about providing an easy way for your Facebook fans to quickly and easily sign-up to your (blog or site’s) newsletter. And to be able to do that directly from your Facebook business page. For convenience, I will just refer to this online sign-up form as Facebook Newsletter subscribe form.
With GetResponse, you can add a sign-up or subscribe form directly to your Facebook fan page.
We have already covered how to create GetResponse online sign-up form, so now the question is how do you create a GetResponse sign-up form specifically for & on your Facebook fan (aka business) page?
Prerequisites for your Facebook Newsletter Subscribe Form
To be clear, this tutorial is about how to create a sign-up webform to be added to your Facebook business page. And I am specifically dealing with GetResponse email autoresponders.
To create a Facebook Newsletter Subscribe Form for your FB page, you should already:
- have a GetResponse account
- have a (GetResponse) newsletter for your site/blog
- and know how to create sign-up forms with GetResponse

Create Facebook Newsletter Subscribe Form
You can either create a new webform or if you have already created some webforms for your site, you can just go to your list of webforms and copy.
To access either of these functions, just hover over “Web Forms” in your GetResponse menu bar, and select either option from the drop down menu.
As I have already covered how to create a GetResponse webform, here I will be merely be making a copy of one of those webforms and then using that for my Facebook business page.
Making Use of an Existing Webform
First we go to our list of webforms:
Then click the “copy” against your selected webform.
It will create a copy of the selected webform. This new copy will now appear at the bottom of your web froms list – having the same name as the original copy. Just click “edit” to make changes to this new copy and/or to change the name of the webform (so you can distinguish them).
The rest of the steps are identical to how you would normally create a sign-up webform (which we have already covered). Just remember to change the name to something meaningful for yourself. (Webform names are only seen by yourself).
Go through the steps till you get to “Publish”. Click the button “Go to Application” next to “Publish on Facebook Fanpage”.
On the next screen, you can click on “Add to Fan Page” button which will then allow you to specify which Facebook business page (especially if you have more than one FB page) you want to add your Facebook Newsletter subscribe form to.
Now when you go to that specific FB (Facebook) page, you will see that a “Sign up” icon has been added.
Hover the top right of the “Sign up” icon, and click “Edit Settings”.
In the pop-up window, you can edit the settings for the sign-up icon that will appear on your FB page.
You can even change the icon (image) that will appear on your FB page.
