Amazon Affiliate - how hard or how easy is it to use? I have spent the last couple of days doing my reading & learning (again!). It is always frustrating when you are learning something new because there seems to be so much to read up - especially when you want to be making the right choices before you implement anything.
The big berFuddle that was holding me back from using my Amazon Affiliate on my sites was - what is the next best step now that I have signed up for Amazon Affiliate? Contemplating such things in the midst of a busy day or at the end of a tiring one often leads to one thing - procrastination and postponement.

FaceIt! on SBI is another new tool that is available (another one of SBI's Built-In Functions). It looks great but boy, is there a Lot of reading to do. I almost gave up.
But I persevered and got myself some useful notes for future reference. By FAR, much more succinct than what is on SBI info. But for those who still need to reference back to SBI (at some stage), there is a list of references at the bottom of each article to help out.

SBI is a vast resource and I repeatedly end up with lost hours searching for what I need. One of those things are their Built-in Functions. Like the NavBar and TOC, & many more.
You don't need to use all of them at once but by golly, you will have to spend a lot of time finding that info again on SBI.
SBI talks of simplicity and they really try. But they have so much info to give that invariably one shudders to even think of reading their info notes because it is peppered with distracting hyperlinks and they download a Ton of info so that you end up stuck there for hours in increasing frustration.
So in an effort to make my own life easier, I have compiled notes that I can use and I can find with ease. I use Upload Own HTML method. Hope my simplified notes on SBI's Built-In Functions will help you out at some stage.

Do you use SBI (Site Built It) and upload your own HMTL pages - but for the life of you cannot remember all those nitty gritty rules like which of the 3 main folders is for what kinds of files? Stuff like that?
In Upload Your Own HTML I am collecting all these bits of info so that they are available to me in one place. That way I can save a half hour off from having to run around SBI site whenever I am looking for info that is only pertinent to SBI-er who Upload their own HTML.
Hope it will save You some time as well :)

Heads up AdSense users!! New toolbar extension from Google that is very cool - but only if you are into monetizing your sites ;)
The AdSense Publisher Toolbar is - Chrome extension only
- On install - little icon appears on your Chrome (browser) toolbar
- Just click icon to see your up-to-date AdSense overall stats
- when you Chrome-browse any of your own sites where you have AdSense running - you can have nifty "overlay" over each of your AdSense units to see how a particular ad unit of yours is performing.
Mega cool!

Have you been making mess out of those terrifying Google's Adsense Channels? Already initially so hard to understand and then comes the tangled web of naming them righ?. And after a while, they all look much like how your brain feels viz. Scrambled+GooglyGooked?
There is no one standard way of doing it - no one right way. There are multiple suggestions on how to name channels. I manage 10 sites at the moment and without this naming-format, I am sure they would have come to drag me away a long while ago!!! So here is my way and may it be of assistance to you too: Custom Channels - How to Name
