Personal Review: Firefox 3.0.14

The browser Firefox 3.0.14 is the latest version as at this time of writing. And in my personal opinion, it is a bit of a disappointment. I don't have a lot of time right now to do research and see how others may be finding it but I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and am not impressed.

It is supposed to be faster, cleaner, and all that good stuff. For me, it starts much slower. It crashes or stalls completely if I leave it alone for too long. And the pages definitely do not load faster. I am afraid I have noticed nothing worthy to write home about yet.

I was on 3.0.12. Yup I skipped one version upgrade fearing it would not be an improvement but when .14 came along, I thought I had better maintain it. And though no major disaster, I wish I had not bothered.

As always, just my personal opinion.
